Woodlands Caravan Park
IF YOU WISH TO JOIN THE RALLY PLEASE CONTACT ALI DIFFORD BY 20TH JANUARY 2020
Woodlands Caravan Park is a 4 star North Norfolk touring park and is situated in a coastal area of outstanding natural beauty close to Sheringham. It is surrounded by beautiful woodland walks. The site is all grass, but we will be located on the highest and flattest part of the site, so we do not believe that any problems will result. Buses to Sheringham and Cromer stop at the site entrance.
There will be outings organised by the Club, but anyone preferring to stay on site will have some excellent facilities to enjoy. These range from a well-stocked site shop, family and lounge bars with eat-in or take away Pizzas. Only a few yards away is the Woodlands leisure complex with swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym and sunbed. Anyone using these facilities has to pay, but if staying at the caravan park the rates are discounted. e.g. Swim, Sauna & Steam Room - £4.50.
Nearby there is a fishing lake, less than 5 mins by car. A day ticket costs £5. There is a footpath connecting the site to Sheringham Park (National Trust) where there is a café, gift shop and toilets. I am told that you can walk beyond the Park to Weybourne and Sheringham, but only for the more accomplished walkers. The others might be advised to take the bus.
Alan Titchmarsh says that Sheringham Park has the most magnificent display of rhododendrons, however we might be a tad too early to catch these in bloom.
Site Fees £20 per night all inclusive.
